international women's day...

i want to share with you images of Palestinian women and images of life in Palestine in honor of international women's day! primarily i want to show these Palestinian women as people, something that gets left out of the news which primarily is dominated by images of men... and often in the context of violence. the struggle for the liberation of Palestine is played out on many different levels. while i see resistance in the acts and lives of all these women, that was not what I was trying to show. i wanted to honor these women on this day. enjoy the photos... and happy women's day! http://mrzine.monthlyreview.org/nessan080306.html
